Healing from difficult experiences requires a practitioner who understands the deep connection between our past and our present. Today, we are proud to spotlight Laura Schneebaum, LMHC-D, LPC, NCC, a trauma-informed and relational therapist dedicated to supporting women across New York and New Jersey.

Specialized Trauma and Grief Support

Laura specializes in working with individuals navigating the heavy burdens of trauma, anxiety, and grief. Her approach is relational, meaning she focuses on the power of the therapeutic relationship to foster safety and growth.

She also brings a unique and vital passion to her work with Previvors—individuals who carry a hereditary predisposition to cancer. Navigating the emotional and psychological weight of such a diagnosis requires specialized sensitivity, and Laura is committed to walking that path alongside her clients.

A Mission of Community and Safety

Laura joined the Gesher Community Care (GCC) network with a clear purpose: to create a dedicated, safe space for Jewish people to process their feelings and experiences. In a world that can often feel overwhelming, her practice serves as a sanctuary for reflection and authentic expression.
