1. Who We Are and What We Offer

GCC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We help connect Jewish community members with independent, licensed mental health practitioners who have received training in culturally affirming and antisemitism-aware care. We may also subsidize the cost of care and provide continuing-education training to practitioners.

GCC is not a healthcare provider. We do not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic services ourselves, diagnose conditions, or supervise the clinical work of the independent practitioners in our network. Any care you receive is provided directly by the practitioner, under a separate professional relationship and agreement between you and that practitioner.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to request a practitioner match through the Site on your own behalf, or be the parent/legal guardian of a minor for whom you are seeking a referral, subject to applicable law. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. The Matching Service

When you submit an intake or matching request, we will typically provide you with a small number (generally 3–5) of practitioner names who may be a fit based on the information you provide.

We do not guarantee that any particular practitioner will be available, accept new clients, accept your insurance, or be a good clinical fit for you.

GCC does not guarantee any particular outcome from care received through a matched practitioner.

Subsidized session support (where applicable) is subject to program rules, funding availability, and eligibility criteria in effect at the time of your request, and may change or be discontinued.
GCC's practitioner directory is not publicly searchable and is provided only through the matching process, in part to protect the privacy and safety of participating practitioners.

4. No Endorsement; Independent Practitioners

Practitioners in our network are independent professionals, not employees or agents of GCC. While we take steps to vet credentials and provide training, GCC does not control, supervise, or take responsibility for the clinical judgment, conduct, advice, or services of any practitioner. Your relationship with a practitioner, including all clinical, financial, and confidentiality matters, is governed by your direct agreement with that practitioner and applicable professional and legal standards — not by these Terms.

5. Donations

GCC is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and donations are generally tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You should consult your tax advisor regarding your specific situation.
Donations are processed through third-party payment processors (currently [e.g., Donorbox / Givebutter]), and your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.
Donations are non-refundable except where required by law or at GCC's sole discretion.
GCC directs donations toward its charitable mission, including subsidized care, practitioner training, and organizational operations, consistent with our nonprofit purposes.

6. Newsletter and Communications

If you sign up for our newsletter or communications, you may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in our emails or by contacting us directly.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information in an intake, matching, or donation request;

• Use the Site to harass, threaten, or target GCC staff, practitioners, or other users, including attempting to identify or contact practitioners outside the matching process;

• Attempt to access non-public areas of the Site or our practitioner database without authorization;

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and the GCC name and marks, is owned by or licensed to GCC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission, except as permitted for personal, non-commercial use.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (including payment processors, training platforms, and practitioner or partner organization sites). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third parties.

10. Disclaimers
 

THE SITE AND OUR MATCHING SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. GCC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY MATCH WILL RESULT IN SUCCESSFUL OR APPROPRIATE CARE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GCC AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND VOLUNTEERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, YOUR RELIANCE ON A PRACTITIONER MATCH, OR YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH ANY PRACTITIONER. GCC'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED [e.g., $100 / the amount of any donation you made].

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GCC and its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Delaware / New York — confirm with counsel], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
