You cannot thrive while you are running. 🌿
When we peel back the layers of anxiety, we usually find a much simpler, more primal core: Fear.
When your nervous system stays stuck in "survival mode," your brain isn't worried about your joy, your hobbies, or your long-term dreams. It’s only worried about the next five minutes.
The Survival Gap:
Surviving is defensive. You’re dodging "what-ifs" and just trying to make it to the end of the day. It’s exhausting.
Thriving is expansive. It requires a sense of internal safety that allows you to take risks and actually inhabit your life.
Healing begins when we stop fighting the anxiety and start comforting the fear. When we move from a state of clinging to a state of living, we finally give ourselves permission to grow.
Reflect today: What would your life look like if you weren’t just trying to survive it? 🤍
